“I love the people I photograph. I mean, they’re my friends.

I’ve never met most of them or I don’t know them at all, yet through my images I live with them.”

About Robyn

Photography and art had always been a part of my life and my background in art and design help me to create memorable photographs.   I started this business in 2009 because I saw a real need for affordable and personal photography I truly do love my clients and feel honored they allow me to try and capture their family dynamics in images preserved forever.

My husband Jon and I have been married since 2003. We were blessed with healthy twin boys in 2007.  As my twins grew older I saw as a busy mom and wife that I was forgetting details that I had sworn would never leave my mind.  That is when I became aware of the lack of affordable personal photography.  I didn't want the studio smiles, but couldn't afford a photographer who would try to capture my true family. And from these frustrations my business was born.

The affordable part of my business comes from me intentionally keeping my overhead lower so that mt clients can have lower package prices. The personal aspect of my photography is I really try to get to establish a fun relationship know the family dynamics of my clients so that I can can capture them accurately on film. My favorite portraits are those that capture a genuine laugh or smile between loved ones who may not have known I was taking their picture.

Approach and Style

I am an on location, natural light photographer.  Labels are hard when describing someones photography style, but I sometimes say my style is classic with a twist.  I try to make my portraits timeless, but without the stuffy posed look.  The outdoors is great place to play and see you and your loved ones in their natural state. My goal for every portrait session is to capture moments of you being YOU with the people you love the most.

During every wedding I photograph candid moments, portraits, and special details I take my job as historian of your life seriously and I feel like these three areas best capture your day. Candid moments help give you a feel of the emotions and fun of the day.  Family and couple portraits document the new families that have been formed during this joyous day. These can range from classic family portraits to romantic poses of the new couple.  Details are the things that make your wedding unique; the dress, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres etc.  At the end of the day you will have anywhere between 500 and 800 of a mixture of these three different types of photography.

Thank you for visiting my website and I look forward to meeting you!

Blessings,

Robyn Joyner
